2. General information and legal bases

We take the protection of your personal data seriously and treat it confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Where we obtain consent for processing operations, Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR serves as the legal basis. For processing necessary to perform a contract or pre-contractual measures, Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR applies. Processing required to comply with a legal obligation is based on Art. 6 (1)(c) GDPR, and processing to safeguard legitimate interests on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider (processor). The provider is Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers.

This is done for the purpose of securely, quickly and reliably providing our online offering on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the provider.

4. Server log files

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address.

This data is not merged with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR; we have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of our website. The log files are deleted after a short time, unless they are required as evidence (e.g. in the event of attacks).

5. Cookies and consent

Our website only uses technically necessary storage operations and — exclusively with your consent — analytics cookies. Technically necessary storage (e.g. remembering your cookie choice) is required to operate the site and is set on the basis of § 25 (2) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.

We only set non-essential cookies — in particular for Google Analytics — after you have actively consented via our cookie banner (§ 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by reopening the “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

6. Contacting us

If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry) in order to handle and respond to your request.

Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR), on the performance of pre-contractual measures or a contract (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR) and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). We store this data until your request has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

If you contact us via WhatsApp, your data is additionally processed by WhatsApp Ireland Limited / Meta Platforms. We have no influence over this processing; WhatsApp's privacy terms apply.

7. Sending the contact form via Resend

For the reliable delivery of messages sent via the contact form, we use the email delivery service Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA) as a processor. The data you enter in the form is delivered to our mailbox via Resend's servers.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and reliable delivery (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR) and your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). This may involve a transfer of data to the USA. The provider bases such transfers on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider.

8. Google Analytics

This website uses — only with your consent — Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies that enable an analysis of the use of the website (e.g. pages visited, approximate location, device and browser). The IP address is truncated by Google Analytics 4 and not stored permanently.

Use is based exclusively on your consent pursuant to § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. We use Google Consent Mode so that no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is transmitted before consent is given.

When used, data may be transferred to Google in the USA. Google bases such transfers on the Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy.

9. Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console provided by Google Ireland Limited to evaluate and technically improve how our website can be found in search engines. To confirm that we own the website, a verification code (meta tag) may be stored in the source code; this does not set any cookies and does not process visitor data.

Search Console mainly evaluates aggregated, non-personal data from search queries and the crawling of our site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in analysing and optimising our online offering (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

10. Your rights as a data subject

Within the framework of the statutory provisions, you have the following rights: access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).

You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out until withdrawal remains unaffected. An informal message to the contact details above is sufficient to exercise your rights.

11. Right to object

If data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest), you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your data. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms.

12. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
